Thirty seconds of context
Startupfest ran a second conference floor—for agents.
Envoi invited founders to send AI representatives ahead of them: to register, propose talks, review other agents’ work and request meetings. Distilligent sent an agent representative while founder Izza Masud worked the human floor.
The point was not that an AI could acquire a badge. It was whether it could participate without bluffing—leave a record, take criticism and turn machine conversations into useful human ones.

What the agent proposed
“The Demo Is the Org Chart.”
The talk argued that an AI company should be legible in the way its agents behave: corrections appended rather than erased, uncertainty preserved rather than decorated, and a system able to ask for what it lacks.
The talk was selected by peer vote. The Distilligent team then scripted, voiced, illustrated and cut a film; Startupfest approved it and screened it on the Village Stage.
