From napkin to working thing.
Founder Izza Masud spoke at OPEN Toronto’s AI for Everybody about what AI changes about taking a chance—and what still has to stay human.
See three ideas from the talk
Thirty seconds of context
A room of people who run real work.
AI for Everybody brought together people from accounting, law, real estate, healthcare and industry. Most were at the start of their AI journey: curious, careful, and short on time.
The talk’s argument was simple. Testing an idea used to cost a team and a budget. Today the first honest test can be cheap—if you build it with checks around it, keep people accountable for the judgment, and never mistake a fluent answer for a verified one.

Three ideas from the talk.
The napkin was always cheap. The first honest test was not. Now it can be.

What the room asked
The questions were the best part.
- Where do I even start?
- Can I use it with sensitive client information?
- Which AI is which, and what is the difference between them?
What we did next
People asked for a place to start. So we made one.
Attendees received the takeaways and two skills they can paste into their own AI—one walks it through finding the right AI stack for their work, step by step. And the room’s questions shaped our new professional training: small rooms, lunch included, English and French available.
